Cogs have been turning, ideas have been bubbling…now we’re excited to launch the Old Girl Gallery! Visit her first exhibition in Port Macquarie at The Artist Market in the Vines on 22 May. 

The Old Girl is more than just our wheels around Australia. She’s also more than our home on the road.

Our ’73 kombi is a wonderful creative space. Every afternoon, we pop up her table and she becomes my office. Mat uses her as a studio, carving his next boards for printmaking and testing out ideas.

She’s also our venue for kombisations, where people gather to tell us their stories and hear some of our own.

So it only made sense that the Old Girl should become a gallery too. Not just any gallery – a gallery that moves around Australia, visiting new places, attracting new artists and writer,  stories and talent.

We’ll visit markets and events, inviting people to step inside the Old Girl Gallery. And we also invite artists and writers – well, any creative types really – to get in touch if you want to include the Old Girl in your work, or use the space to show your work.
